Does your teen ever feel overwhelmed, stressed out, or unsure how to handle life’s curveballs? Teen SHOUT is hosting Home Base, a free, hands-on workshop designed to help youth 13+ build real-life skills to manage anxiety, triggers, and emotional overload.
When we asked some of the local Kindergarten teachers what they hope to see in their students coming into Kindergarten they all said strong independence/self-help skills. In a preschool classroom with 24 kids and two teachers, we ask that all the kids at least TRY to put on their own outdoor gear.
