Looking for the biggest, boldest, and most family-friendly events in Chestermere? You’ve come to the right place. At Little Lake Locals, we don’t just share what’s happening around town, we create it.
These are the signature events we proudly organize each year. Designed for families, built for community, and delivered with love, our events bring Chestermere locals together like nothing else.
Energizer Night
A one-stop shop for family fun and community connection.
September 10, 2025 and March 25, 2026
Energizer Night has been a staple in Chestermere for over 20 years, and since the fall of 2021, Little Lake Locals has proudly taken the reins from the Chestermere Regional Community Association to carry it forward.
This free, twice-yearly event is built with families in mind. Sure, there are youth activities, sports demos, and fun zones for the kids, but Energizer Night is also where local rec programs, support services, and community groups come together under one roof. It’s all about making life easier for Chestermere families.
Looking for local childcare options? Signing up for sports or dance? Curious about seniors’ programs or wellness services? This is the place to start.
Whether you're brand new to Chestermere or have lived here forever, Energizer Night is the easiest way to find what your family needs, and maybe meet a neighbour or two while you're at it.
Table registration is now being accepted for the 2025 Fall Energizer Night. Please send Little Lake Locals a message for registration details.
Trunk or treat
October 2025 marks the 8th year for the Chestermere Trunk or Treat.
What is a Trunk-or-Treat? Instead of going door-to-door, children go from car to car to get treats. Vehicles sponsored by local businesses and organizations gather in the parking lot and hand out treats from their decorated car trunks to children in costume.
Chestermere children’s festival
The biggest free family event in town.
Coming June 2026 this all-out community celebration will be focused on kids and the people who raise them. From stage shows and game zones to hands-on crafts, activity stations, food trucks and local vendors, it’s a high-energy day designed to celebrate childhood in all its loud, sticky glory.
Whether you’re a local business looking to connect with families or a parent hunting for a free day of fun, this will be the the can’t-miss event of the year.
Please contact Little Lake Locals to find out how your business or organization can get involved.
