What’s the Children’s Festival?

The Chestermere Children’s Festival is a full day of hands-on fun where kids get to jump in and try things, not just watch.

Families can explore activity zones filled with art stations, simple science experiments, face painting, a petting zoo, interactive games, and immersive storytelling. There are even a few surprises along the way, including fairy-finding adventures hidden throughout the site.

You’ll also find kid-friendly vendors and food trucks on site, so it’s easy to make a full day of it.

It’s all about movement, creativity, and letting kids be kids, while parents discover local programs and organizations at the same time.

Live Entertainment

The Main Stage keeps things moving with music and performances that actually pull kids in. It’s the kind of entertainment where they don’t just sit still, they join in.

Explorer Stations

This is where most of the action happens. Local businesses, clubs, and non-profits host hands-on stations where kids can create, experiment, move, and play. Each station is easy to jump into, with no pressure to stay long. Just explore at your own pace and see what grabs their attention.
