The Chestermere Mustangs Junior Hockey team are looking for dedicated volunteers to help make their home games a great experience for our players, fans, and community.

Whether you're available for one game or the entire season, they’d love to have you join our game day team. Volunteer opportunities include:

• Ticket Scanner

• Silent Auction Table

• Chuck-a-Puck

• Music Director

• Announcer

• Timer/Scorekeeper

SE Rocky View Food Bank

The SE Rocky View Food Bank provides hampers to individuals and families in Indus, Langdon, and surrounding rural areas. They need volunteers to assist with transporting and sorting. They are also always in need of donations. For more information please email them.

Chestermere Whitecappers

The Chestermere Whitecappers are in need of volunteers for their casino on September 2 & 3, 2026. This is their largest fundraiser and helps support facility rental costs. For more information, please contact them.

Chestermere Minor Hockey needs volunteers for their upcoming casino on October 8 and 9, 2026, at Ace Casino Blackfoot.

Available Shifts (both days):

• 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

• 6:45 PM – 3:30 AM

Community Therapy Dogs Society

CTDS is looking for volunteers in schools, nursing homes, and hospitals. If you have a well-behaved dog that loves people and you would like to be involved in an organization that brings comfort to people, maybe CTDS is the right fit. For more details, please email CTDS.

Drive Happiness

Drive Happiness is looking for volunteers to drive low-income seniors in Chestermere to/from appointments (often in Calgary). This is a very flexible and rewarding volunteer opportunity. You get to pick and choose which rides to do, so it works with your schedule! You are also compensated for your fuel.
