Free Mental Wellness Programs for Kids Coming to Chestermere and Langdon This Summer
Families looking for meaningful summer activities can register for several free mental wellness programs being offered by Rocky View Schools Mental Health Capacity Building (MHCB) throughout July and August.
Designed for children ages 6 to 14, these small group programs combine fun, creativity, and practical coping skills in supportive environments. Most sessions require a parent or caregiver to attend alongside their child.
Programs in Chestermere
Grow in Nature
Children ages 6 to 11 will spend time outdoors exploring mindfulness through nature, movement, gratitude activities, and sensory experiences that encourage confidence, emotional regulation, and resilience.

Artistic Flow
This creative program combines gentle movement, breathing exercises, and art projects to help participants express emotions, build resilience, and strengthen the mind-body connection.

What Parents Should Know
All programs are free.
Most programs require children to attend with a parent or caregiver.
Space is limited and registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
School Engage registration is required for all programs except Mindful Makers, which is registered through the Chestermere Public Library.
