Light the Lake 2025 Winners

The 2025 Light the Lake contest brought festive cheer to Chestermere streets, with families sharing their creativity and holiday spirit through dazzling light displays.

Judged Categories – First Place Winners:

Best Overall: 116 Seagreen Way
Best Theme or Design: 189 Magenta Cres
Best Use of Lights: 148 Lakeview Cove

The Community Favourite, determined by public vote, went to 116 Seagreen Way. Each first-place winner received a trophy and a gift card to a local Chestermere business. The Community Favourite winner also received a six-month membership to the Chestermere Boxing Club, valued at $787.50.

All contest entrants were included in a random draw for a six-month Boxing Club membership, with the winner being 132 Rainbow Falls Glen.

The Light the Lake map will remain available all holiday season, so families may enjoy a light-seeing tour of Chestermere and discover all the festive displays.

Don’t forget to stop by the Alliston presentation centre in South Shore (466 South Shore Drive) to see their wonder lights and get some Christmas goodies, PLUS enter to win one of 4 $50 gift cards to Pho City and Sushi-mazing. The draw takes place December 20, at 5:00 pm. The presentation centre is open:

Fridays: Closed
Weekends & Holidays: 12 pm-5 pm
