Northern Lights & Polar Bear Craft with the Chestermere Playschool
By the Chestermere Playschool
Discover why the Chestermere Playschool is a top choice for families seeking a Chestermere preschool with play-based learning and caring educators.
This fun craft from the Chestermere Community Playschool, involving polar bears and the Northern Lights, gives preschoolers the opportunity to work on their cutting skills, and also to be creative in their choice of colours!
For this easy craft, you'll need a sheet of black construction paper, white paper for your polar bear (click here for a template), coloured chalk, glue and safety scissors.
Step 1 - cut out the polar bear. Draw a circle around the bear to make it easier for new cutters.
Step 2 - Colour with chalk all over the black paper.
Step 3 - Rub in the chalk to create the look of Northern Lights.
Step 4 - Glue on the polar bear and display your artwork!
