Calgary Yacht Club (Ages 5–17)

Set sail with kayaking, paddleboarding, and dinghy sailing lessons—beginner to advanced. Week-long summer camps on Chestermere Lake. Registration required, paid

Camp Chestermere (Ages 6–17)

Overnight and day camps packed with faith, fun, and water activities like kayaking, archery, axe-throwing, and good old campfire singalongs. Registration required, paid

Code Ninjas (Ages 5–14)

Tech-forward day camps in Chestermere where kids learn coding, robotics, and game-building with the help of Code Senseis. Registration required, paid

Luna P.L.A.Y. Kids (Ages 3–10)

Outdoor summer programs filled with energy, creativity, movement and fun—set against the backdrop of Chestermere Lake. Registration required, paid

Ralph Klein Park – Wetland Wonders (All Ages)

Free, drop-in family nature program every Wednesday. Learn about wetlands, bugs, and critters that live below the surface. Drop-in, free.

Langdon Summer Drop-In (Ages 10+)

Daily free summer drop-in for youth at the Qualico Resource Centre. Activities, community building, and mentorship. Registration required, free.

Dabble Summer Day Camps (Ages 7–9)

Creative and inclusive programs that blend movement, coding, circus arts, story stones, and even equine therapy! Registration required, paid

The Drop (by Synergy) (Ages 8–17)

A free, supervised youth hangout space in Chestermere open weekdays. Games, snacks, and mentorship included. Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Drop-in, free.

Inglewood Bird Sanctuary – Birding Breaks (All Ages)

Guided nature walks to explore Calgary’s urban bird sanctuary. Great for families, beginners welcome. Drop-in, free.

Bow Habitat Station – Bug Soup (Ages 4+)

Wildlife-focused fun in Calgary’s wetlands! Guided nature discovery programs run Tues–Sat. Admission required.
