Youth Programs in Langdon and Chestermere Offer Free Support, Mentorship, and Connection

Registration is open for three free youth programs in Langdon and Chestermere, designed to help local kids and teens connect, grow, and have fun in a supportive environment. Offered through Synergy, these programs give young people the chance to build friendships, gain leadership experience, and access caring mentors, all at no cost to families.

SHOUT Girls Langdon

Ages 10 – 12 | Wednesdays, 7:00 – 8:30 pm | Qualico Resource Centre, Langdon

SHOUT Girls Langdon is the ultimate midweek hangout for preteens. It’s a fun, inclusive space where girls aged 10 to 12 can connect with friends, meet positive mentors, enjoy snacks, and talk about the stuff that matters to them.

Each session focuses on friendship, confidence, and self-discovery, with mentors who help youth manage stress, explore new interests, and develop their individual strengths. For more information: Joty@yoursynergy.ca

SERVE Leadership

Ages 13 – 17+ | Wednesdays, 5:00 – 6:30 pm | Qualico Resource Centre, Langdon

For teens ready to step up as community leaders, SERVE Leadership is an incredible opportunity to gain real-world experience and make a difference. Participants can earn volunteer hours, receive a City of Calgary LEAD certificate, and build valuable skills that look great on resumes and scholarship applications.

The program brings together motivated youth to collaborate on projects, connect with mentors, and develop leadership qualities that last a lifetime. For more information: serve@yoursynergy.ca

Teen SHOUT

Ages 13+ | Mondays, 5:00 – 6:30 pm | Centre for Community Leadership, Chestermere

Teen SHOUT is an inclusive and welcoming program for teens aged 13 and older. It’s a space to unwind, connect, and talk about life—with the support of mentors who get it.

Weekly sessions mix fun with thoughtful conversation on topics like friendships, healthy relationships, social media, and current events. Teens also learn tools to manage stress and anxiety while exploring their personal strengths and passions. For more information: christine@yoursynergy.ca
