Langdon Library’s Children’s Holiday Store Is Back!
Be part of the magic! Saturday, November 29, 2025
The Langdon Library’s Children’s Holiday Store is a by-donation event where children may “shop” for a special gift for parents, grandparents, or caregivers. With the help of our shopping elves, each child selects a gift, then hands it off to the wrapping elves to be beautifully wrapped. The result is a heartfelt surprise ready to be unwrapped by a loved one on Christmas morning.
Donations Needed
The Kid’s Holiday Store is urgently seeking donations of new or very gently used items. They’re looking for gifts kids can choose for family members, including:
Home and kitchen: mugs, tea cups, small candles, dish towels, oven mitts, coasters, small kitchen gadgets.
Personal care: lotions, lip balm sets, bath salts, bath bombs, travel-size toiletries, nail care kits, hair accessories.
Food and treats: tea bags, coffee samples, hot cocoa, small jars of jam or honey, wrapped candy or chocolate bars.
Office and stationery: notebooks, journals, pens, markers, sticky notes, desk organizers, magnets.
Miscellaneous: picture frames, keychains, reusable bags, small potted plants or succulents, scarves or gloves, holiday ornaments.
They also need wrapping paper, gift bags, tissue paper, tape, and ribbon or bows.
Donations may be dropped off at the Langdon Library during regular hours or at Servus Credit Union.
