Free Summer Fun for Families in Chestermere

Looking for free summer activities for kids in Chestermere? There are plenty of ways to keep little ones busy this summer, and these three weekly drop-in programs from Chestermere Community Services and Chestermere Public Library are worth adding to your calendar.

Mother Goose by the Lake
Grab a blanket and your small humans (ages 0–6) for an hour of stories, songs, crafts, games, and snacks at John Peake Park. Hosted by Trellis, Chestermere Public Library, Healthy Families, and PCSS.

Playdate at the Library
Join the Chestermere Library for a unique day of play featuring the Mobile Adventure Playground! The Mobile Adventure Playground is a dynamic play space packed with "loose parts" (items that can be moved, carried, combined, and redesigned). Kids are free to build forts, invent games, and explore in a safe, supportive environment.

Wellness Wednesdays

Join Chestermere Community Services and other guests for FREE activities and resources for individuals and families of all ages! Each week features a different theme designed to inspire connection, learning, wellness, and fun in our community.

August 5 – Cultural Connections
August 12 – Healthy Living
August 19 – Family Fun Day
