Langdon Community Backpack Exchange
Running from June 20 to August 28, this local initiative helps families gear up for back-to-school season in a sustainable, community-minded way.
How it works:
Now through August 14: Drop off clean, gently used backpacks and school supplies at the Langdon Library.
August 18–28: Families can browse the collection and fill a backpack with what they need, no cost, no questions.
They also accept food donations and monetary contributions, which go toward library memberships for families facing financial challenges. Want to help out? Swing by the library during open hours and ask about volunteering.
Chestermere Backpack Program
