Measure Up Before You Go

Wondering which carnival rides your child can go on?

Wild Rose Shows has a handy Measure Up tool on its event page. Simply enter your child's height to see which rides they can safely ride at the Chestermere Family Fun Fair.

It's a great way to check the ride requirements before you arrive, especially if you have younger children who may be right around the height limits.

Use the Measure Up tool and see the rides

The event page also includes the current list of rides and attractions, along with individual rider requirements. Ride restrictions can vary, including minimum and maximum heights and whether a child needs to be accompanied by an adult.

Save on Carnival Ride Bracelets

Planning to spend the day riding? You can save a few dollars by purchasing an advance all-day ride bracelet coupon. Advance ride bracelet coupons are $45 and are available at Chestermere City Hall reception. Credit and debit are accepted.

Ride bracelets purchased at the carnival gate are $50.

The advance coupons can be redeemed for any day of the carnival, so you can purchase yours ahead of time without having to commit to a specific day.

Planning Your Visit

Parking is available at the Chestermere Recreation Centre.

Before you head to the carnival, check the Wild Rose Shows event page for the latest information about rides, attractions and height restrictions. The ride list and requirements are subject to change, so it's worth checking before you go.

Make a Day of It in Chestermere

If you're already heading to the Chestermere Summer Carnival, why not make a full afternoon or evening of it?

Just across from the Recreation Centre, John Peake Memorial Park will also be hosting Summer Music in the Park. The event features live music, food trucks, a licensed beer garden and a Saturday vendor market.

That makes for a pretty solid summer combo: carnival rides, midway games, live music and something tasty from a food truck. Basically, you won't have to work too hard to keep everyone entertained.

Whether you go for the rides, the games or simply the summer atmosphere, the Wild Rose Shows Carnival is another fun addition to the Chestermere summer calendar.
