Chestermere Children's Festival Coming to John Peake Park on June 20
Looking for something fun to do with the kids this weekend?
The first-ever Chestermere Children's Festival is coming to John Peake Park on June 20 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and admission is completely free.
Designed for children to explore, create, move, and play, the festival features hands-on Explorer Stations, face painting, a petting zoo, interactive games, live entertainment, food trucks, and a family-friendly vendor market.
Entertainment Schedule
10: 00 am - 3:00 pm: Petting Zoo, Games, Explorer Stations, Face Painting, Mobile Adventure Playground, Vendor Market and Food Trucks
10:00 am, 12:00 pm & 2:00 pm: Singing with Sylvia
10:30 am, 12:30 pm & 2:30 pm: Fizzlewit's Fairy Finding Tours
11:00 am & 1:00 pm: Music with Mandy
Explore, Play & Discover
Throughout the day, local organizations will host hands-on Explorer Stations where kids can try activities, learn new skills, and discover community programs. Participating organizations include Chestermere Public Library, Code Ninjas Chestermere, Camp Chestermere, Chestermere Playschool, Scholars of Chestermere, JKA Karate-Do Empow-Lil Academy, Luna PLAY Kids, and more.
Families can also browse local vendors selling everything from wooden toys and activity kits to balloon wands, temporary tattoos, stickers, crocheted creations, bamboo pajamas, and other kid-friendly treasures.
