Chestermere Job Fair Connects Local Job Seekers with Hiring Employers

If your job search could use a reset, or even just a little momentum, the Chestermere Job Fair is worth carving out time for.

Hosted in partnership with the Chestermere Chamber of Commerce, Prospect Human Services, and the City of Chestermere, this event is all about connecting local job seekers with employers who are actually hiring. No endless online applications, no ghosting. Just real conversations with real people.

Whether you’re entering the workforce, switching careers, or just seeing what’s out there, you’ll have the chance to meet with multiple employers, ask questions, and get a feel for what different roles actually look like. It’s also a solid opportunity to expand your network, which, let’s be honest, still matters more than we’d like it to.

There’s no cost to attend. Just bring your resume and be ready to introduce yourself.

If you’re feeling a bit rusty on that front, Prospect has you covered. They offer free tools and support to help you prepare ahead of time, and they’ll also be running a Resume Skills Workshop right at the event.

This hands-on session walks through how to build a resume that doesn’t get skipped over, from formatting and tailoring your content to using stronger language and highlighting real results. You’ll also get tips on avoiding common mistakes and presenting your experience with more confidence, which can make all the difference when you’re standing in front of a recruiter.

The event is designed to be inclusive and accessible for everyone. If you need accommodations, you can reach out to Prospect in advance to make arrangements.

Bottom line: if you’ve been meaning to “get serious” about your job search, this is a pretty easy first step. Show up, have a few conversations, and see where it leads.
