Fall & Winter Program Registration Open in Chestermere & Area
Ready or not, fall is just around the corner, and that means it's time to start thinking about sports, dance, and other after-school programs for the kids. Whether your household leans more toward hockey skates or ballet slippers, there are some great local options to keep them active and engaged this season.
Fall and winter aren’t just for sports and dance. Families looking for daycare, preschool, and early childhood education options will find registration is open for several local centres and programs. We’ll be including these important early learning opportunities in our Fall & Winter Programs Guide, so you can plan ahead for everything your family needs this school year.
We’ve gathered a quick peek at a few of the programs already open for registration, but the full list will be featured in our Fall and Winter Programs & Events Guide, launching soon. Subscribe to the Little Lake Locals newsletter to get it first (and avoid the “waitlist” shuffle).
A Few Local Programs to Watch
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s on offer this fall:
Twirl Dance Company – Ballet, hip hop, muscial theatre and more, right in the heart of Chestermere.
CTC Martial Arts & Fitness - Taekwondo for ages 3+, women’s self defense and more.
Chestermere Community Playschool - parent-run, not-for-profit playschool for 3-and 4-year olds.
Chestermere Curling Association – Junior, Adult learn-to-curl, Senior curling and more programs. Rock solid fun.
Indus Ringette – Fast-paced action for kids looking to try something new on the ice.
Wheatland Wranglers Girls Hockey – A great option for girls interested in developing skills and confidence through team sport.
And that’s just the start. There will be more coming in music, STEM, martial arts, and beyond. We’ll be updating our Fall and Winter Programs & Events Guide regularly as new info rolls in.
