Looking for a positive, welcoming place for your tween or teen to connect with others this fall? Synergy’s youth programs give young people a chance to build friendships, develop confidence and learn from positive adult and peer mentors, all in a safe and supportive environment.
Fall 2026 registration opens in September, so now is a good time to take a look at what’s available in Chestermere and Langdon.
Teen SHOUT – Ages 13+ (Chestermere)

Centre for Community Leadership

Teen SHOUT provides a welcoming space for teens aged 13 and older to connect with peers, enjoy some snacks and have meaningful conversations with caring adults and mentors.
The program explores topics that matter to teens, including healthy relationships, social issues, social media, stress and anxiety, and personal growth.

SHOUT Girls – Ages 10–12 (Langdon)

Qualico Resource Centre

SHOUT Girls offers a structured support circle where pre-teens can build friendships, develop self-awareness and learn skills that help them navigate the ups and downs of growing up.
With the encouragement of caring adults and teen and peer mentors, participants explore topics such as self-awareness and self-compassion, healthy relationships, resiliency, body image, trust and boundaries, positivity, goals and intentions, and growing up female.

SHOUT Girls in Chestermere provides a supportive space for girls to connect, talk about issues that are relevant to their lives and build confidence alongside caring adults and peer mentors.
The structured program focuses on self-awareness, positive relationships, resiliency, critical thinking and finding an authentic voice.

SHOUT Boys focuses on building social skills, teamwork, confidence and other important skills that help boys as they grow into young adults.
With guidance from caring adults and teenage mentors, participants have opportunities to learn about positive relationships, contributing to their community, succeeding at school and making good decisions.

SERVE Leadership – Ages 13–17 (Langdon)

For youth who are ready to take on a leadership role, SERVE Leadership provides opportunities to volunteer, gain real-world experience and make a difference in the community.
Participants can earn volunteer hours, work toward a City of Calgary LEAD Certificate, develop leadership and life skills, and connect with other youth who want to get involved.
