Free Youth Cooking Camp Open to Chestermere, Langdon & Strathmore Youth

Teens can sharpen their cooking skills this summer at a free four-week Youth Cooking Camp hosted by Trellis Society. Designed for ages 12 to 16, the program combines hands-on cooking with practical life skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Participants will learn kitchen safety, food preparation, healthy meal-making and food safety basics, while also exploring mental health awareness and positive coping strategies.

  • Mondays from June 29 to July 20

  • 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Ages 12 to 16

  • Free program

  • Trellis Family Resource Network, 419B 2 Street, Strathmore

Honestly, teaching teens to cook even one decent meal before adulthood deserves some kind of community medal.
