Ringette is a fast-paced game played on ice. It differs from hockey as the style of play promotes teamwork and active participation from all team members. The focus is on fun and personal development.

What to Bring:

• Minimum Required Equipment:

  • CSA-approved helmet (hockey or ski helmet — no bike helmets)

  • A face cage is recommended but not mandatory

  • Skates

  • Gloves (hockey or ringette gloves preferred; winter gloves or mittens are acceptable)

• Additional Recommended Equipment:

  • Neck guard

  • Elbow pads

  • Knee/shin pads

  • Hockey pants or ringette girdle
