A Little Note from Kim

Your friendly reminder of what Little Lake Locals is all about, and why I'm glad you're here.

Ever wonder what you signed up for when you subscribed to Little Lake Locals? Here’s your quick refresher!

Hi, I’m Kim, a lifelong Chestermere local, community volunteer, and the person behind Little Lake Locals. I started LLL in March 2025 to continue what I loved doing for nearly 10 years with Macaroni KID Chestermere: helping local families find fun things to do close to home.

So, what can you expect from Little Lake Locals?

• Your weekly newsletter: Delivered every Thursday morning with upcoming events, family-friendly activities, local happenings, and helpful articles.

• Community calendar: A growing list of events and activities in Chestermere, Langdon, and surrounding communities.

• Local resources: Guides to playgrounds, programs, camps, volunteer opportunities, and more.

• Community connections: Local businesses, non-profits, family resources, and the community events I help bring to life.

Here's why subscribing matters!

I share events and local information on social media whenever I can, but Meta's rules and link restrictions can make it difficult to share everything. Some posts may not reach you, and I can't always include all the links you'd need to find the details.

Your inbox is the best way to make sure you don't miss the good stuff! You'll get my weekly roundup, with links to explore events, read articles, and find even more on the website.

A little favour? Keep an eye out for my newsletter every Thursday, add it to your contacts so it doesn't get lost in spam, and tell a friend who could use a few more ideas for family fun.

Little Lake Locals is a local business supported by advertisers, sponsors, and community events. When you support the businesses featured here, you're helping keep this resource going for local families.

Thanks for being here and helping me keep our community connected!
