Go Girl 2026 Brings a Full Day of Fun, Fitness and Confidence-Building to Chestermere Girls
2025 Go Girl
Girls aged 9 to 14 will have the chance to try something new and get moving at the Go Girl event on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Calgary Yacht Club. The full-day event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is all about helping girls build confidence, stay active, and discover what they enjoy.
Throughout the day, participants will “see and try” a variety of sports, fitness, and wellness activities, while learning about local programs they can get involved in beyond the event. Past sessions have included yoga, rugby, boxing, curling, martial arts, and mindfulness.
At lunch, a resource fair will offer information on nutrition and overall wellness, along with opportunities to connect with local organizations. Community groups can also get involved by hosting a table or contributing to participant swag bags.
Registration is $25 and includes snacks, lunch, and a t-shirt. Registration will be opening very soon, so keep an eye out for details.
Go Girl Chestermere is proudly presented by Synergy, Calgary Yacht Club, Rocky View Schools, Alberta Health Services, Little Lake Locals, Stepping Stones to Mental Health, and the Calgary Rural Primary Care Network.
