New for 2025: Voting Subdivisions
This year brings a change to how voting will work in Chestermere. Instead of voting at the Chestermere Recreation Centre, the city has been divided into three voting subdivisions. Residents must cast their ballot at their assigned voting station based on where they live. Full voting station info: Voting Stations – City of Chestermere
Why Families Should Go
Your family’s day-to-day life is shaped by municipal decisions, parks, recreation, community safety, taxes, and the services that keep our city running. These forums aren’t just about politics; they’re about building a community that works for families. Taking the time to attend one (or both) of these events is a great way to show your kids what civic engagement looks like, and to help make sure your household’s needs are heard at the local level.
Chestermere’s future is on the ballot this fall. Don’t just vote, get informed, ask questions, and make sure your family’s voice counts.
