Kindergarten Readiness Event Helps Little Learners Start School with Confidence

Set your child up for success in the school year. Help your child transition to Kindergarten with hands-on workstations designed to mimic some of the experiences your child will have in a Kindergarten setting. There will also be take-home information for parents, snacks and door prizes.

While your child participates in several hands-on learning stations, parents are welcome to visit the information tables and talk to experts about:

• When, where and how to register your child for kindergarten;

• How you can prepare your child for the transition;

• Receive kindergarten readiness resources and activities to take home.

Please register your child for one of three time slots. You are more than welcome to come earlier or stay after your time slot: 10:15 am, 11:15 am, 12:15 pm.

When: March 7, 2026, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm (Sessions run 10:15 am, 11:15 am and 12:15 pm)

Where: Calgary Yacht Club, 635 East Chestermere Drive.

This event is free, but registration is required.
