Energizer Nights return to Chestermere and Langdon this March
Two local favourites are back on the calendar, bringing together recreation providers, community groups, and support services for a pair of practical, free family-friendly evenings.
Chestermere Energizer Night
March 25, 6 to 8 pm
Chestermere Rec Centre, 201 West Chestermere Drive
For more than 20 years, Chestermere Energizer Night has been a go-to stop for families trying to figure out what’s available close to home. Hosted by Little Lake Locals, the event gathers local programs and services under one roof so residents can ask questions, compare options, and make connections without spending weeks hunting down information.
Expect a wide range of booths covering everything from sports and dance to child care and wellness supports. New to town? It’s a fast way to get oriented. Long-time residents tend to discover something they didn’t know existed, which is half the fun.
Langdon Energizer Night
March 30, 6 to 8 pm
Horseshoe Crossing High School, 167 Mowat Street
Langdon hosts its own Energizer Night just a few days later, presented through a community partnership that includes Synergy, Little Lake Locals, Langdon Community Association, and Langdon Library. The goal is the same: bring together the people and programs that make daily life easier for local families.
Residents can meet recreation providers, learn about after-school activities, explore support services, and connect with wellness and seniors’ programming. It’s practical, social, and surprisingly efficient.
What you’ll find at both events
Energizer Night is built for real-life questions. Families can:
• explore recreation and sport programs
• find child care providers and after-school options
• connect with support services and health or wellness professionals
• learn about seniors’ programs
• meet neighbours and community leaders
Whether you’re new to the area or just ready to try something different, these events offer a straightforward way to see what’s available without the guesswork.
Two evenings, two communities, one simple idea: everything local, all in one place.
Vendor registration is open for both evenings:
