Try Football with the Chestermere Chiefs

Free “Try It” Camps This June

Ever wondered what it’s like to play football? Now’s your shot. The Chestermere Chiefs Community Football Club are hosting two Try It camps on June 5 and 12 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at East Lake School, and everyone aged 8 to 14 is welcome to hit the field.

No gear? No problem. Just bring your runners, a water bottle, and a buddy. The Chiefs will take care of the rest. The Chiefs provide equipment and a safe, supportive space for new players to see what football is all about.

This volunteer-run club offers both flag football (ages 5–17) and tackle football (ages 8–14), serving Chestermere, Langdon, and the surrounding communities. Coaches are trained in safe contact, and the focus is on skill-building, teamwork, and fun.

So if your athlete has been curious about the game, this is the perfect low-pressure way to give it a go.
