Home Alone: Empowering independence for kids

Is your child ready to stay home solo, but you’re not quite ready to hand over the remote and the first aid kit?

Trellis Society is hosting a FREE “Home Alone” safety program for kids aged 10 and up, perfect for helping your child build confidence, independence, and learn what to do when the toaster goes rogue.

When: May 16, 2025
Time: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Where: Chestermere Public Library
Cost: Free (snacks included)

In this fun and interactive session, youth will learn:

  • Practical safety smarts

  • Basic first aid know-how

  • Fun ideas to keep busy while home alone

  • A solid boost in confidence
